Dura-Bell™ is one the brightest innovations in our industry since the grip plate. As substandard imitations flood the market, there are several distinct features that separate the real Dura-Bell from the knock-offs. Hampton Fitness holds the U.S. patent on a round cylinder head that is screwed on the end of a solid dumbbell handle, then reinforced with a quarter-inch roll pin, through the head and the handle itself. It’s guaranteed not to come loose! Our competitors manufacture theirs by using a hexagon-shaped head and then rubber-coating it, which will cause rubber to tear from the inside out. Theirs is also made with a scented recycled rubber as well. It maybe cheaper than the urethane coating we use, but in the long run, when your Dura-Bells are still in use, you'll be glad you paid for the quality.

UMAX series Urethane Dumbbells are assembled in The USA with Patented Dual-Lock and Dura-Edge technology. The weight heads are solid steel encased in high grade cast poly urethane (CPU). The dumbbell handles are made of Heat-Treated Alloy Steel with Hard-Chrome or Urethane Soft-Grip finish. Made in USA High Strength stainless steel handles are available for upgrade.

UMAX U2 OLYMPIC PLATE
With the same patented EZ-Grip Design as UMAX series, U2 plates are encased in thermal poly urethane (TPU) that provides better protection and eliminates smells compaired to rubber coated plates. U2 plates will not leave residue that can mark floors and surfaces of other equipment like rubber plates do.

UMAX Urethane Olympic Plates feature Patented EZ-Grip Design. Encased in high grade cast poly urethane (CPU), the plates have the warranty of 10 years against Metal Core Breakage and 6 years against Urethane Breakage.

UMAX provides colored rubber bumper plates with solid steel center disc hubs. The solid steel hub eliminates the center hole to expand and makes the plate compact in thickness.
