Community Involvement

Apple Fitness has been a part of our community since 1993, and we appreciate that we would not have achieved our success without the support from our partners in the community. We believe it is our corporate responsibility to give back to that community, and be a part of spreading the message for an active lifestyle to those who may not otherwise be able to participate.

Throughout the year, we are proud sponsors of a number of community events, which are typically put on to raise funds for kids and school athletic programs. Whether it’s a golf tournament or conference, Apple Fitness is proud to support the efforts of the thousands of volunteers who are committed to improving the health of our neighbors.

The Apple Seed Program is designed to put quality new and used equipment into high need / low budget facilities. High Schools, fire halls, recreation centers, and hockey schools have all been the beneficiaries of the Apple Seed Program.

Some of the facilities / programs that have received equipment or financial support through our Apple Seed Program and sponsorship efforts include:

This March, we invite your organization to Bust a Move for Breast Health join hundreds of men, women (and Richard Simmons!) for breast cancer research at the Cross Cancer Institute! For six energizing hours of exercising bliss, you will be laughing, lunging, and grooving while making an impact for women right here at home- your mothers, sisters, wives and co-workers.

On March 24th at the Northlands Expo Centre, you will be enjoying six different fitness sessions, from Zumba to Yoga and everything in between, including a session with the one and only Richard Simmons! So what next? Register today and join Apple Fitness in becoming a mover and a shaker for breast health!

And don’t worry, each fitness session has three different impact levels so you can keep up with whatever pace suits you best. So be part of this amazing day where you move more than your feet (and enjoy food, beverages and massages to keep you going).
